SLPA Job Functions:

  • Administering speech therapy program utilizing specialized therapeutic technique and/or equipment
  • Providing feedback to supervisor regarding trials for patients for recommending communication devices/aids as indicated
  • Preparing and submitting notes per organization policy
  • Maintaining clinical competency in speech language pathology practice and theory
  • Identifying patient and family/caregiver needs for other services and refers as appropriate
  • instructing patient, family/caregiver, and other Organization health care personnel in the patient’s treatment regime as indicated
  • Daily Communication with clinical supervisor and Lead SLP


SLPA Job Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of speech language pathology assistant with an Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Current Texas State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience: One year experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant preferred.
  • Skills: Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid and current auto liability insurance

Babel Therapy, PLLC, is seeking registered Speech Language Pathologists and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants to provide individual therapy for the rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, hearing, oral-motor, augmentative and alternative communication and cognitive disorders to work in the Greater Houston area.

We have multiple openings in the following areas:

South / Southeast Houston suburbs (Pearland, Texas City, Missouri City, and League City)
South West Houston suburbs (Sugarland, Stafford, Missouri City, Richmond, and Katy)
North West Houston suburbs (Houston-290/610, Cypress, and Katy).
